Rotary Bangalore Junction is a unique experiment in the Rotary World. Most of its charter members were existing Rotarians who firmly believed in the principles of Rotary, it’s 4 Way Test, its core values of Fellowship and Service to the Society and were keen to continue to live the dream. Thus, they came together to fulfill this dream and the club was chartered on 5th February 2010, with Sanjay Sinha as its first President.
A Club chartered with 5 past presidents gave it one of its most defining character – . The Club also gratefully acknowledge the overall guidance from Club,s Charter time DG ,Rtn. PDG Dr. S. Nagendra and the Club’s GSR Rtn. PP. Subramanyam.
Junction was thought of as an apt name for a Club which wanted to involve itself in Fellowship and Service at all times – in a busy place like a Junction – connecting people, dimensions, directions and destinies.
In just 10 years, the club has attained “One of top 3 clubs amongst over 130 clubs in District 3190”, awarded ‘Platinum Citation for the year 2019-20 by Rotary International”, its President in the year ——-named “Golden Star”, been one of the top contributors to The Rotary Foundation during last 10 years cumulatively of US$——-, has successfully executed 6 major Global grant projects, reached a membership strength of over 200 nos including two Satellite Clubs.
